1. Purpose of Vendor Registration
Vendor registration is provided to allow café and restaurant owners ("Vendors") to list their food items, manage orders, and connect with customers located nearby. The platform is strictly intended for legitimate food businesses to sell and manage food orders digitally through the MunchMart Cafe App.
2. Vendor Eligibility
To register as a vendor:
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must be legally authorized to operate a food or beverage business
- You must provide accurate and valid business, contact, and location details
- Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination
3. Data Collection & Usage (Important)
To operate the vendor platform effectively, MunchMart collects and processes certain vendor-related data, including but not limited to:
- Business information (café name, address, category)
- Owner details (name, phone number, email address)
- Location data (used to show nearby customers your café)
- Menu items, prices, availability, and images
- Order history, earnings, and performance analytics
4. Purpose of Data Collection
Vendor data is collected solely for the following purposes:
- To verify vendor identity and business authenticity
- To display vendor listings to nearby customers
- To process, manage, and fulfill customer orders
- To provide analytics, earnings reports, and performance insights
- To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements
5. Data Storage & Sharing
Vendor data is securely stored and used only for platform operations. Certain information (such as café name, location, and contact details) may be shared with customers strictly for order fulfillment and communication purposes.
MunchMart does not sell or misuse vendor data and does not share data with third parties except where legally required.
6. Menu, Pricing & Availability
- Vendors are responsible for maintaining accurate menu items and prices
- Any incorrect pricing, misleading descriptions, or unavailable items are the vendor's responsibility
- Item availability must be updated regularly to avoid order issues
7. Order Management
- Vendors must prepare orders promptly after accepting them
- Repeated cancellations, delays, or unfulfilled orders may negatively impact ratings and account status
8. Delivery & Preparation Time
- Delivery and preparation times shown to customers are estimates
- Vendors are generally expected to prepare orders within 10–15 minutes
- Excessive delays may impact customer satisfaction, ratings, and platform visibility
9. Refunds & Cancellations
- Vendors are responsible for wrong, missing, or poor-quality items
- Refunds may be initiated in verified cases of incorrect or unsatisfactory orders
- Repeated refund complaints may lead to account review, penalties, or suspension
10. Food Safety & Legal Compliance
Vendors are solely responsible for:
- Food quality, hygiene, and freshness
- Compliance with all applicable food safety laws and regulations
- Maintaining valid licenses and permissions required to operate
11. Ratings & Reviews
- Customer ratings and reviews reflect actual order experiences
- Fake, manipulated, or misleading reviews are strictly prohibited
- Consistently poor ratings may result in reduced visibility or suspension
12. Limitation of Liability
MunchMart acts only as a technology platform that connects vendors and customers. MunchMart is not responsible for:
- Food quality or hygiene issues
- Vendor conduct or legal violations
- Disputes between vendors and customers
All responsibility related to food preparation and business operations lies with the vendor.
13. Account Suspension or Termination
MunchMart reserves the right to suspend or terminate vendor accounts in cases of:
- Policy violations
- Fraudulent activity
- Repeated customer complaints
- Legal or regulatory non-compliance
